I could not have been more impressed with the courtesy and professionalism shown by Chris Howell during the inspection yesterday at a cabin we are purchasing to use a short-term rental. This is my first time doing a transaction like this, and he helped ease my nerves, because I could tell he was very knowledgeable and thorough. I wanted to make sure I was not getting into a bad situation, and he helped point out any issues/potential future issues. His wife was also very sweet and helped my dad and I measure things and move stuff around as needed. If I buy another property later on, I will 100% be using Chris again.

I've previously used Chris as our inspector on a prospective home and he found numerous large issues with a home that was enough for us to walk away which resulted in a significant savings of money and even health based on his incredible findings. We then used him a second time to inspect a prospective home for my elderly parents which proved just as helpful for financial and health reasons. Besides blowing my mind on how good the home inspection was, Chris also went above and beyond when we may have developed a mold problem in out crawl space a couple months after the purchase of our home. This was several months after the home inspection, but when I asked Chris about mold issues, he said he didn't find any during his inspection but would be happy to come look again. Mind you, mold can start within a couple days and this was several months after the inspection; he had no obligation to reinspect, but he did. Thankfully, we did not have a mold issue in our crawlspace and I was sincerely appreciative of Chris's efforts in easing my anxiety about it.

The care, consideration, and professionalism he showed in doing the reinspection was just icing on the cake for an already amazing job. I couldn't have picked a better home inspector and I'm thankful I hired him. If I ever buy another home, I know exactly who I'll be calling for the inspection.
